1 Sq.ft = 1 Liter.

We are proud to own a patent for our innovative recycling process. This system converts lime water for soaking by undergoing several biological, physical, and chemical treatments. Facultative bacteria developed during the process aid in achieving superior soaking, which is typically not possible with fresh water. Technologies such as bacterial nano buffing and pre-liming are incorporated to recycle water and enhance the quality of the leather.

As a result of our advanced recycling techniques, we only consume 1 liter of water per square foot for the production of finished leather from raw hide. This efficient use of resources underscores our commitment to sustainability and quality in leather manufacturing.

Renewables.

KKSK was among the first investors in wind energy in the state, boasting nearly 20 MW capacity of wind turbines located across Tamil Nadu. Our commitment to sustainability ensures that all our operations, including factories and offices, are powered exclusively by renewable wind energy.

Additionally, we have invested in a pilot 1 MW solar plant and plan to expand further into the solar power domain. This transition to renewable energy means our leather production is entirely free from fossil fuels, significantly reducing our carbon footprint and promoting a greener future.

ZEWA: Zero-Waste Manufacturing System

Our zero-waste manufacturing system, ZEWA, maximizes the use of spent dye, retan, and fat liquor baths from mainline production. With 100% chemical uptake efficiency, ZEWA ensures zero waste and promotes a sustainable, circular economy.

Chrome Recovery: In-House Chrome Recycling Plant

Our in-house Chrome Recovery plant monitors chrome exhaustion levels and recovers 100% of chrome for reuse. This reduces the need for new chrome and minimizes toxic waste, promoting sustainability and reducing environmental impact.

Our commitment to reducing resource consumption has earned us Zero Liquid Discharge Plant status. We reuse 100% of treated water, ensuring that not a single drop is released into the environment.

100% Process Control.

An enduring adage in the leather industry states, "Leather is made in the beamhouse," highlighting the critical impact of primary tanning on the final product. Unlike conventional producers who start with wet blue, we control every step of the process. We adhere to the principle of matching the right material with the right tannage to create the finest quality leathers. This meticulous approach ensures we consistently deliver superior leather products.

Quantity = Delivery.

With over 40 years of industry experience, our proficiency in sourcing materials worldwide is unmatched. We specialize in procuring Indian materials and maintain substantial inventories for immediate processing upon order receipt. Our stock levels are sufficient to meet a quarter of the year's requirements, eliminating the need for wet blue procurement. This capability allows us to expedite deliveries, achieving a delivery performance exceeding 95% and consistently high customer satisfaction.
