From humble beginnings.
KKSK International operates through our tannery division, KKSK Tanning Co Pvt Ltd, manufacturing and exporting premium calf and cow leathers from Erode. The name KKSK honours our founding father, Mr. KKS Khader Mohideen Sahib, whose leather journey began in the 1930s with the establishment of East India tannery.

Origins
After the passing of Mr. Khader Mohideen Sahib, the business was entrusted to his two teenage sons in 1982. Mr. Rafiq, then only 18 years old, took charge of the business and continues to lead KKSK International today.
Under his leadership, KKSK moved from a family-rooted tannery business into a scaled leather manufacturing company with a strong export focus.

KKSK has consistently taken early steps in leather manufacturing. We were among the first large-scale industrialised wet blue producers and one of the country’s major raw material stockists.
Today, KKSK is among India’s leading finished leather exporters, with an annual capacity of 24.0 million square feet, serving global footwear, leather goods, and lifestyle brands.
Accolades
KKSK was the first tannery in India to obtain ISO 14001 Certification and the first raw hide to finished leather processor to earn an LWG Gold Certification.
Our patented recycling system significantly reduces water consumption and earned recognition from UNIDO as “Best Futuristic Tech”. Today, KKSK uses less than 1 litre of process water per square foot for finished leather production.
